Website Migration: From Wordpress to Publii

The observant visitor will have noticed significant changes in the look and feel of this website. That's because I have successfully migrated from Wordpress to a static site that is managed using Publii, an easy to use desktop-based CMS.

For many years, I relied on Wordpress to manage the content here. Wordpress, being the world's most popular CMS (Content management system), excels at creating and maintaining active blogs or websites that are frequently updated.

However, DannyTam.com, being a personal homepage, does not need frequent updates.

Enter Publii, a desktop-based static site generator. Not only does it provide speed benefits, but it also reduces server load and enhances security.

For the curious, the old wordpress version can be accessed here.
